good site from Spencer Kimball, one of The Gimp's co-creators. Got the link from Slashdot, but it's relevant to the Corbis/Kodak discussion...

* It's the Gimp online, ie. lots of the stuff you can do with The Gimp you can do on this site. Neat!

* You can also upload your photos, make an album out of them, and give the URL to your pals. You reserve the copyright, unlike Kodak's site.

* upload your photos to a shared repository for public-domain use as stock footage if you like -- so there's an open-source stock footage repository!

* download other's stock shots from the shared repository, likewise.
