Napster are goign thru lots of fun SPIN.

Thing is , the model they are fronting aint none too good and the people
who make up the base of thier user support are apt to hit the nexxt flavor
of the month as soon as defend them.

Napster's central serevr tech is its death, pure and simple. With
gnutella, there are no servers, there is no one to point a finger at. The
admins of the big back bones on down to the isps would have to all seek to
somehow ban gnutella traffic, which would then just morph.

Read the specs on the protocal, lots of gnutella is http:)- I would like
to see that banned.

The fix is in folks and now its just a wait to see if the corps will go co
opt the trends or try to bottle them up.

Value, it shifts and it stutters but it some one is going to reap it up.
