o Viant Establishes Venture Fund For Employees, Viant Ventures
BOSTON -- Viant, a publicly held developer of digital
businesses, said it created Viant Ventures, a program
that will build, launch, and expand digital businesses
conceptualized by Viant employees. Once an idea
is selected by a group of people comprised of Viant's
management team, advisory board, and board of directors,
the company will work with the entrepreneur to develop
the business plan, recruit management, and secure
outside venture funding. Viant will provide core
business building services, including Web site design,
marketing, branding and promotion, systems integration,
and management services, and will evaluate each
case individually as to whether or not the company
will choose to invest in it. Viant expects to select
one to three ventures over the next year to participate
in the program.
