Jackoff Nielsen (as the design heavy wonks around here call him) had some
interesting thoughts a longtime ago, thoughts a lot of other people were
having as well. His branding was his worth and over time what little good
ideas he was reguritating become so lagged and second hand from the flow
of the now he fadded into the zone of joke/wonk.
Hes a talking head for the junket ciricut, a executive summary of the
worst kind. He is best loved by those so behind the flow of things, who
need to hear a voice that says its ok to be lame and the best way to
battle the brillance of the flow is to belittle it, nit pick it, and wonk
it down to a trickle.
"If you cant beat them, berate them" is the JN moto.
And yet, the sum of his output is gas, not substence. Like any foul gas,
he too shall pass.
( the only use i have for JN now a days is to use when i want to upset the
top heavy desgin/front page folks here at work. oooh they hate him...and
oooh i love to see the reaction:) )
