Microsoft's just announced its exciting new web/windows architecture.
Buried in the quotes of support document, and amusing to me for some reason:
Quote from Marc Andreessen:
"Loudcloud is excited about .NET because it is directly in line with our
vision of a world of networked services. It will provide a great foundation
for next generation Internet applications and services, which will further
enable Loudcloud to provide innovative new infrastructure services to our
customers."
Not much else out there yet, to be honest, especially technically. There's
a content-free whitepaper and a bunch of press material. The rigged demo is
set to air at 3 pm ET.
