Sure, but there are $$$ here for maintenance and initial purchase.
Also, there is a "comfort" factor. If the OS crashes regularly,
the level of confidence goes down pretty quickly, and the overall
risk goes up. Crashes aren't an issue for static replicated
sites, but can be really expensive for dynamic systems.
