Give a person a thousand years and they will spend 999 of them bitching
and complaining about how thier life is not as good as it can be.

How many of us have lived a single YEAR (one year 365 days) in a state of
happiness and completeness.

Yes I want alonger life and yes I do belive that even my overweight
carcass will get to live to be a hundred or so if I can hold out till im
60.

Years dont make the matter any better. I dont think transcendance will
come any easier with time so much as it will from some inner attempt to
just fucking enjoy the shit house we got no matter how longer we got.

John brunner was perhaps the best forward thinker in this area. Shockwave
Rider and the Sheep Look Up and Stand on Zanzibar go more into the
practicalities of living the changes than Toflers bullet list book.

Its teh diffence betweeen knowing how to have great sex and actualy having
it.

And time for that I will love to have in the eons.
