i-mode coming to the states? NTT DoCoMo is
reportedly in talks to acquire a small stake in the wireless
phone venture planned by SBC Communications and
BellSouth. If it goes through, the deal could bring
              DoCoMo's i-mode service to the U.S. The i-mode
service, which allows consumers access to e-mail and
other Internet services from their cell phones, is wildly
popular in Japan, where is enjoys a consumer base of
about 10 million. Analysts suggest DoCoMo's
technology could win over many of the U.S. wireless
content providers who've grown tired of using wireless
              application protocol.
