Ok so I got out my calculator and since I don't have a Pentium I know the
numbers are correct.
Apple currently has 350,000 orders for iMac
The iMac sells for $1299
350k x $1299 = $454, 650, 000
Not too shabby, Now considering Apple will lower the price to $999 for
Christmas we have to assume they are costing Apple $750 each to build so:
350K x $750 = $ 262, 500, 000
That means a profit of $ 188, 150, 000 on the day of introduction.
