Wearable t-shirt talks to the cell phone which proxies the connection
through the cell gateway onto the Internet which then figures out the
route to the local area where the doorknob is sitting at which also
has an Internet connection and presence.
Wearable t-shirt speaks HTTP over bluetooth to the disconnected
embedded HTTP server in the doorknob.
It's peer to peer as you've cut out all the intermediate
steps, the requirements for needing full time internet connections
just to make something happen, and all the security and commnication
you need is local. If that's not p2p, I don't know what is.
