Murai-san surfaces again... it's staggering me how well connected Keio
appears to be, even though it hasn't hit the international radar screen. I
just got an introduction to the president of Microsoft K.K. ... who also
teaches at Keio!

For the record, Professor Murai seems widely acclaimed as *the* Internet
guy in Japanese academia, akin to Dave Farber or Vint Cerf. Professor
Hagino works with him, of course.

Now all someone has to explain to me is why it's 'Environmental
Information'... RK
