BTW, the most telling deathknell for any piece of DEC technology was for it to
become the console device for a VAX. 8" floppy, TU58 tape, 5-1/4 floppy,
PDP-11/03, DEC-Professional, TK50 tape, TK70 tape. They all got to be
boot/console devices, and then shortly became obsolete.
