Rowan Atkinson will become the ninth Dr Who when he enters the Comic Relief
time zone for a tongue-in-cheek revival of the cult science fiction figure.
For one show only, the Mr Bean actor is donning the velvet drape jacket and
sonic screwdriver of the Time Lord for Comic Relief night on BBC1 on March
12.
He already knows about playing immortal time travellers - he took Blackadder
across the centuries from medieval times to the First World War.
Wish I could get Channel 1 here.
