Those of you who, like me, had a bright yellow Tonka dump truck when you
were growing up, will be sad to know that Russel L. Wensktern, the chief
executive of Tonka Toys who helped develop the Tonka dump truck, died
January 21, 2000, at age 87.
When I was young, I sure did love that dump truck.
