Coming full circle on this thread, I once described TG as
"Chris and Cosey meet Psychic TV" to a music newbie. They
didn't get it...

If Skinny Puppy is too lighthearted, for you, Wayne, give
Einsturzende Neubauten a spin. They're sort of what
Ozric Tentacles would wound like if they'd spent their
youth dropping acid to Lou Reed's _Metal Machine Music_
instead of to Gong's _Angel's Egg_.
