So, this is pretty embarassing, but:

I shorted Yahoo last May at $117, thinking "this is insane,
there's no way it's worth that much. It has to come back
down pretty soon."

Then I did a bit of travelling and didn't really pay attention
to it for a while, and the next thing I knew it was trading at
$200 and I was getting nasty e-mail from Datek saying I had to
cover. Then it dropped a bit, and I bailed out at $156.

(it's now at $734, split-adjusted.)

Heh, heh.
