*** Microsoft releases latest test version of browser

The Internet browser wars are heating up again with Microsoft expected
to post the latest test version of its Internet Explorer Tuesday and
announce support from some 250 content providers. Microsoft executives
said the so-called Preview 2 of Internet Explorer version 4.0 will be
widely available Tuesday for free download, with computer
professionals and enthusiasts the target audience. A Microsoft product
manager said the new version was "much more stable" and complete than
a previous test version targeted at developers, but cautioned the new
browser still has bugs. For the full text story, see

So in other words, "it's a piece of shit, but not as big of a piece of shit
as our last release," and since it might just take out your
drive/system/whatever we have this handy disclamer that you should be a
*computer professional and or enthusiast.*

So how does this heat anything up?

"Netscape rushes to release buggy overblown browser to battle Microsoft?"
