Follow the money.
The politicains take up these causes to ..garner votes to get reelected
($$ for them)
The activists take up these causses to..increase thier power base (no
oppressed clubbed gay baby sapplings no need for the People Against
Oppressed Clubbed Gay Baby Sapplings Action Front....see Al Sharpton for a
prime example of this)
The media take up these cuases to...sell more ad spaces (earth freindly
equates to big bucks these days)
So there is money to be made from our invlovment in it, and if you follwo
the money you see it is the Money Minority who reaps the financial ends in
most of these ventures.
What is that old phrase "it takes money to make money, so get some one to
give you it first"....
There are emotional values in many of these causes not addressed in pure
money money money terms, but im tired and ill get to them latter.
