IF the freeware crowd is up for the tsak of wanting to be in compettion
with the already established commercial folks, then forknowing of the
tactits used is proably gonna be a definte need. Yea, they will get
slammed, MS and the like will play up the "its all vodo code, stifck with
us we aint 100% fool proof but wwe are the deamoon you know best".
The American trensd to move away from Mom and pop operations in the 70s
and 80s (walmarts rise and the franchising of the strip mall mentality) is
going to move , naturaly, inot wahtever the consumer herd goes to.
Computers and oses are now in the relm of the hoofs of the consumer herd,
and if history is any indication of things they will be herded to the
saftey pen for the slaughter.
DIY has always been more for the nonmassedafflicted than not. Trying to
stamp this on the herd mentality is a loosing effrot. funny to watch, but
loosing nontheless.
