I will be glad to give testimonial to support Joe's statement -- he is
speaking the truth, believe me! I would not want to drive a compact
car in Upstate NY for fear that it would be sucked deeply in to the
vortex of a pothole the size of a small crater.
Then again, the potholes in PA and NY are nothing compared to those
you encounter in Northern Ontario where permafrost damages the roads
in such a way that it must be encountered to be believed.
