California Beach
Rock & roll and sushi collide at this Lido Village restaurant. The USC
Greek crowd thaOBt shows up on Friday nights may make you wish you
were in Japan, but the sushi here is of a higher quality than at your
average raw-fish joint. You can find much better sushi at a handful of
other places, but the beer flows freely and the catchy tunes play loud
at California Beach. It's more of a party than a great place to eat,
which is why you don't see hardcore sushi-heads there, but it's good
enough for the rest of us. And the California rolls (the white boy's
