Aquavit Minneapolis opened in November, a sister of Aquavit in New
York, itself renowned as one of the finest Scandinavian restaurants
in the nation. There's nary a meatball in sight...
There are 15 varieties of house aquavits, to accompany a choice of
three-course veg and non-veg menus (about $45 plus tax and tip).
The general manager assures us we'll have an exquisite time -- he owes me :-)
We'll meet at 9:30 outside the IETF plenary, or come directly to the
restaurant by 9:45 PM. It's in the IDS Center, right next to the
Marquette Hilton Hotel, accessible by skyway from the IETF Hilton.
