Where did this list come from? There is no way Lenin would be in the
top ten, or Chomsky for that matter. A large chunk of the academia
don't consider Chomsky's political writing serious enough to be worthy
of their erudition, because for the most part Chomsky refuses to get
into the fray of academic turf wars. So what does a conscientious grad
student do when it comes time to punch out that conference paper? Don't
cite Chomsky if you value having your paper accepted.

When you are up against Oprah and Bart Simpson, the odds are against you
for the most part.
