My point is, when Bill writes a book about companies reaching "digital
nirvana", it's only natural that he would explain how one does so using
Windows technology. Why should he emphasize that one can do the same thing
using Oracle and/or Linux and/or Java and/or anything else? I don't see this
as a sign that Bill doesn't "get it".
