* APPLE COMPUTER INC. Friday said co-founder Steven Jobs plans to
sell 1.5 mln shares of Apple stock. In a filing with the
Securities and Exchange Commission, Apple said the sale was
related to the Cupertino, Calif.-based computer maker's
acquistion of Jobs' firm Next Software Inc. in February. Apple
is selling the shares in a secondary offering. (Reuters 06:47
