*** Mass killer Manson found guilty in prison drug case
Mass murderer Charles Manson was in solitary confinement Tuesday after
being found guilty of drug-trafficking inside the California prison
where he is jailed for masterminding a bloody 1969 rampage, officials
said. In addition to the punishment by a prison panel, a formal
investigation of the drug offenses at Corcoran State Prison was under
way. After the prison completes its investigation, Manson could face
trial in prison on other drug charges. Manson was originally sentenced
to die for masterminding the 1969 killings of actress Sharon Tate and
