Closure is good. I'm good at avoiding it. But at least today I finally
mailed off my 1996 and 1997 state and federal tax returns. I'll admit the
$300,000 bill the feds sent me was a good motivator. (As it turns out, they
actually owe me a bit... but I owe CA a bit, so it ends up being a wash.)
I was totally oblivious to the SF power outage yesterday until I read about
it on FoRK. For some reason the South-of-Market area was one of the few
areas in the City not affected.
We've finally moved back into our bedroom. The whole-house remodel is
turning out nicely. I'm looking forward to hosting another Bay Area FoRKcon
sometime soon.
