[VOID] Absolutely nothing

There are some moments that simply must be posted -- for their sheer
improbable complexity, the full Rube Goldberg powers of Universe Mocking
Rohit at work.

This isn't one of them.

All this one does is note that it was written in the bright Hawaii sun...

...looking out on the coral blue ocean

... with barely a soul in view

... the surf murmuring softly at my feet

... since the lava-rock beach is only a meter from the pure white sand

.... since the pure white sand is a meter from a towering palm tree

..... and since I'm rocking softly in a hammock strung to that palm tree.....

Happy holidays from the Four Seasons,
Rohit

PS. Of course, it damn well better be a postcard-perfect scene: one night
here is more than my rent -- much more! And, I get to spend the night at
the ultrabudget Kona Seaside, anyway -- it's all for my parents' 25th
anniversary gift...

PPS. Yes -- the G3's backlight is *that* bright. Readable in *full* sunlight!

PPPS. An hour later, just to prove it's really Rohit's miserable life, Word
crashed at random and took the entire hammocks' work on Seventh Heaven with
it -- because on top of everything else, the new installation *doesn't*
AutoSave by default. Grrrrr..... and it was brilliant stuff, too. And since
it's not Windows, there's not even a turd-file I might recover my text
from. Sigh.
