As to search engines, does anybody sees a failure with the scheme of
integrating a full-text indexer into Apache (crotabbed, or, gosh!,
perhaps even triggered by a file submission mechanism?), letting the
spiders pluck premade indexes only? On demand, even?
Seems awfully easier both on system (a couple of years ago I got hit
so hard by the http://www.euroferret.com/ here my Linux box crashed)
and network load.
