Here's some spam that you should be aware of:
http://reality.sgi.com is a link to a "secret server" at Silicon Graphics
that contains over 200 internal employee home pages. Do you know how to
find employee home pages inside your own source companies? Our AIRS course
will empower you to find them.
To help you further evaluate our course, following is a brief quiz with
several more examples of the kinds of results you can expect. If you have a
newer e-mail program, just clicking on the example links will take you out
on the Net. If not, please take just a minute to feed the URLs into your
browser and go take a look.
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO:
(1) Find employee directories hidden inside your source company's
Example: http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/picdir.html - This is a
directory of home pages for the computing sciences division of Lucent's Bell
Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ.
(2) "Flip" your source company's websites to find employee home pages?
http://www.research.microsoft.com/research/BARC/joebar/default.htm - We
flipped Microsoft's cutting-edge Bay Area Research Center (BARC) website to
find Joe (and all the others in his development team).
