The AP wires have now moved the text of Clinton's address to that
prayer breakfast this morning. So, if you hadn't already heard it
on your radio, your favorite online news page (no matter what it is)
will presumably let you know: he apparently feels that the usual
Gospel-quoting, Bible-thumping shtick which he usually employs when
he wants to sound "moral" is somehow inadequate to this occasion. So,
he added something extra --- a sizable quotation from the Yom Kippur
liturgy (Reform edition, if I remember my prayerbooks right).

If you can't be bothered to look, the Boston Globe has it at
http://www.boston.com/news/packages/clinton/breakfast_speech.htm

The Jewish people has suffered much over the course of its existence.
Enslavement under Pharoah, the 40 years in the desert, exile in Babylon,
war with the Greeks ruling Syria, conquest by the Romans, the diaspora,
pogroms, the Inquisition, more pogroms, the Holocaust. And now this.
Why do these indignities keep happening to us? Sigh...
