Electronic Arts, makers of sports games, etc. decides
to purchase from Virgin Games, their Westwood studio
for $122.5 million. Westwood studios and it's
internal studio in Irvine who of course made
the Command and Conquer series of games. It's
unknown what effect if any this will have on this
Fall's most awaited Internet game, Tiberian Sun.
is a lot of money for nothing other than
a name, but from a gamer's standpoint, those
guys deserve it.
