Well, it wasn't glamorous, but I spent the weekend learning HTML 4.01 and
XHTML 1.0 and then updating my web site to be XHTML compliant.

It's incredible to me the sorry state of tools today. I used FrontPage
2000, HTML Kit 1.0 build 280 (which has Dave Raggett's Tidy built in), and
IE 5.0, but all were buggy and behaved inconsistently.

Content-wise, the two main changes are the new books and happiness pages.

Finally, I switched my domain from a free Angelfire site to a $24.95 a month
Concentric web hosting subscription, which supports FrontPage uploads. The
domain should update in a day or so but is redirecting to the right place
for the time being, so only the URL is off.

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback, whether technical or content-oriented.
