Appended is a breakdown of the clients that connected to my home site
over the last 3 weeks or so:

Netscape has roughly 80% of the market, and basically zero competition.

Microsoft don't seem to be getting very far with Internet Explorer.
Even Lynx has a greater market share.

It is also interesting to breakdown some of the Netscape figures in
the following ways:

Windows: 55% Mac: 14% Unix: 9%

Not very suprizing.

Windows 3.x: 12% Windows 95: 12% Windows NT: 1%

Useful to know.

Netscape 0.9: 1% Netscape 1.x: 40% Netscape 2.x: 37% Netscape 3.x: 1%

Rather amazing. Despite all the hype, most people still can't run
Java applets.

5838 29% Mozilla/1.x Windows
2417 12% Mozilla/2.x Windows 95
2370 12% Mozilla/2.x Windows 16bit
1500 8% Mozilla/2.x Macintosh
1117 6% Mozilla/1.x Macintosh
1097 5% AOL IWENG
915 5% Mozilla/1.x Unix
874 4% Mozilla/2.x Unix
409 2% Slurp
289 1% Lynx
272 1% SPRY_Mosaic
254 1% NCSA_Mosaic
243 1% Mozilla/2.x Windows NT
224 1% PRODIGY-WB
206 1% Microsoft Internet Explorer
202 1% NetCruiser
195 1% GNNworks
172 1% Mozilla/0.9
162 1% Mozilla/3.x Windows 95
138 1% aolbrowser
138 1% IBM WebExplorer
128 1% InfoSeek
115 1% Unknown

(btw, the Netscape 3.0 beta release seems to be called Atlas if you
are searching for it on their ftp site.)
