Don't know about other lay-offs but they are pretty much bailing out
of the Mac market.

Then again who isn't?

P.S. Another prediction, within a year Apple having sold off Pippin,
Newton, & Printer divisions, and having IBM build PowerPads, will
do a NeXT and get out of the hardware market altogether.
