Its not that one is slave to the other or less than the other, its that
you must must must have a blend of functions such that the USER is served
best, whoevere or whatever the USER of that thing is.

So dig, if your making an app thats for you and you alone, do the gui
however you think you work best. try forcing that on others and calling it
a "standard" or some such is bad bad mojo of the worst craming 5 lbs of
poo in a 1 lb bag variety.
