What's with the Kontiki name?

Wasn't that the name of the Viking (maybe not Viking, but something of
similar vintage) that an explorer named Thor Heyerdahl sailed across the
Atlantic back in the 70s/80s? 

The name is supposed to symbolise bringing people "together" or something
like that. 

I despise all of these new corporate names. Scient is one that particular
beats my cheese. Not sure why, it just sets off a raw nerve. Thus, I propose a
throwback to the days of yore...

"Honest John's People 2 People Marketplace" (dot com)
"Abe's Nickel & Dime File Sharing Emporium" (dot net)
"Slimey Jack's Den of Damsels and Parlour of Unchasteness" (dot xxx)

How about it? Who's in?
