Clearcase's workflow was a thrill - looking at a derived object and
being able to see what version was used for every source or library
file was rad.  And because the document space looks like a filesystem,
I didn't have to learn any wack tools - I never used their silly
visual differ, I used ediff.

I don't know how much sysadmin toil went into it, however - if I had
to administer it myself, I'd choose CVS :)  And it was dog slow.  We
always had the "reuse derived objects if somebody has already made
them" feature turned off, because it was a net loss.
