Yep, but have we learned their lessons?
I still think we are working with century old code when dealing with the
impact of technology on society in general and our lives in particular.
I dont want to wax JamesBurkian here, but we still havent come to grips
with how the catapult changed the face of way. We still get the "war
should be only at arms length" tracts wether it be versus the catapult,
bastilla, gunpowder, rockets etc.
Well, some do some dont, but i think the number of donts is still enough
to drag down the dos.
Whats the halflife of outdated thinking?
