Yes, so everyone will now need a mod chip for their PC so that they can use
it. Since noone has ever designed, built, and marketed a mod chip before, we
should all panic immediately.

But given what this is REALLY about, this should be viewed as a huge
marketing opportunity for retailered that can place a "OpenSource runs on
this PC" sticker on the systems they sell without the new chips. Oh and the
"Plays MP3s" sticker will be a big draw too.

It's nice to see we can count on Microsoft to do something good the wrong
way and screw themselves over, hehe.
