I am not saying that California culture is better, just different. BTW -
Woody was putting down Southern California and I think most of us up here
centered around San Francisco do not like being lumped in with Southern
California. Our most famous recent son, after all, was the sublimely named
Johnny Walker, the american Taliban. The rest of the nation had a field day
putting down our culture for that one. 


Now if we can just keep Hawaii and Alaska with us.
