Geeze, that one''s fun to turnaround.
Socialism,
Functionally it is used by the extreme right to paint anyone to their left
as "loose-thinking". They are especially eager to apply it to any kind of
social program, since this reduces political choice to socialism and
communism,
 -- an argument over freedom, rather than level of taxation.

Roughly, anyway, can't quite grasp that "thugocracy" thing.
