Ditto RIAA vs P2P wars, and Fed/corporate encroaching upon basic liberties like free speech
(are you running an anonymous remailer? Freenet? PGP? Using StartTLS? HTTPS? Skype?). 

The pressure not only results in adaptive backpressure, but also sensibilizes
the general public about a hitherto unpercieved problem.
