Jeff, the cite he provides gives a model for how
many deaths.  The implication that all deaths are
a direct result of the US military seems a little
far fetched.  So, there's either two things:

1) The real civilian death total is somewhere around
   26,000, but only 13,000 that are reported to be
   a direct result of the US military.
2) 13,000 is somewhere around the number of civilian
   deaths, but after adjusting for those 3 factors, the
   real number of civilian death from the US military
   is potentially 6,000 or even less. 

Which is it monkey boy?
