I think I've heard that Texas refuses to recognize gender reassignment 
-- and thus
if a woman who used to be a man wants to marry a woman, that's OK in Texas.
And if they were married beforehand, that's equally OK.
But a woman who used to be a man wants to marry a man, that's not OK.
