[Hi all -- apologies if 1) you're not in the Bay Area or 2) already
heard about this event from various other desi-friendly mailing lists.
My wife's very actively involved on the board of Narika, so you'll
definitely see me there -- though whether that biases you for or
against seeing it is up to you! :-) It *is* for a very good cause,
nonetheless... --RK]

Narika and South Asian Sisters present Untitled, a powerful one-woman
play in English, performed by theatre personality Lushin Dubey and
directed by Arvind Gaur. The play, an "ode to womanhood and their
courage" is based on Rajasthani playwright, Vijay Dan Detha's Nyari
Nyari Maryada and Dario Fo's award-winning Medea. Lushin enhances her
performance with the ingenious use of puppets and other creative props.

Untitled has received critical acclaim at the Edinburg Festival, and
has been performed in several cities across India and the United
States. Before coming to the SF Bay Area, Untitled will also be staged
at Harvard and The Smithsonian. For more information, please visit
