The world has always been insane.
Consider yourself lucky and sheltered if you've been able to maintain 
the illusion of sanity, fairness, karma, et al for an extended period of 

Sanity is the result of hard work, not the natural state of things.
Make karma happen.

Hatch is a wacko.  That's been clear for a long time.
