Mac OS XCVIDXVCIV, of course!!!

>First, the poorer economies of technologically capable blocs (e.g.
the EU) [...]

Conveniently ignoring that the E.U. is the same portion (slightly
bigger at the minute, akshuly).

>The US is currently 30% of the world's GDP, and if you add Japan to
the mix [...]

The U.S. and E.U. are 1/3rd each at interbank rates and 1/4 each at PPP.

The reality of U.S. military power is that kids from Outer Montana are
getting their arses shot off by some rag-tag extremists in the middle
of no-f*cking-where. The reality in the E.U. is that no politician is
dumb enough to throw $100B's to his pals in the military-industrial
lobby to send kids to get their arses shot off by some rag-tag
extremists in the middle of no-f*cking-where. OK, so a few $10B's
mebbe. But, hey, if you drank the "Reagan beat the commies" kool-aid,
then there's no hope for the rice-pudding in your cranium anyway.
