Damn. Whatever happened to constraints? I was fully convinced that
they were the next big step beyond straight OO 10-15 years ago (back
in the days of CMU's Garnet, UWashington's DeltaBlue and Cassowary,
etc.), but they've gone the way of other declarative techniques* that
used to be hot, and are now just tricks used by a few erudite
programmers.
Is this another "worse is better" or "programming languages for
average people" example?
