The Smoking Gun:

"C reported on his recent talks in Washington. There was a perceptible
shift in attitude. Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush
wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the
conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were
being fixed around the policy. The NSC had no patience with the UN
route, and no enthusiasm for publishing material on the Iraqi regime's
record. There was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath
after military action."

"C" refers to Sir Richard Dearlove, the head of the British Secret
Intelligence Service, or MI6. He made these observations some time
before July 23, 2002. The discussion clearly shows the groundlings of
a long-term collaborative conspiracy by Bush and Blair to wage ware
against Iraq in any circumstance.

Why is this not circulating in the USofA? Why aren't the Cable News
Channels hailing this as "Memogate"? Where's the moral outrage on the
part of political pundits? Why is Bush not being impeached? How jaded
have you people become?

Oh, right... I forgot he controls all four estates.

-Ian.
